Role: Maid/Housekeeper

Ethel is the longest working staff member here, with her being hired at the age of 12. Over the years, she's had a lot of her childhood admiration beaten out of her, either by the current Earl or by his father before him. She does have some compassion, with this side mainly coming out during her weekly Sunday picnics with Stewart and Bradley, although this side of her also came out upon hearing of Cora's situation, leading to her insisting that Arthur hires her. Because of this, she is solely responsible for her, putting a lot of pressure on her as Cora tends to be apprehensive at times.

Name: Pheobe    Age: 23    Species: Horse   Height: 5`3

Role: Maid

Growing up, Pheobe worked at a farmhouse, doing agricultural work for a pay slip that went right to her parents. Because of all the intensive labour she was put through on the fields, she ended up gaining muscle mass, thus her bulkier physique. When she was 16, she was transferred from being a farmworker to a maid, with her parents giving her to the Earl in exchange for receiving her pay instead. Pheobe has developed a tendency to "wander", during which her mind drifts away as she focuses on other things. This was developed as a way for her mind to cope with the intensive labour her body gets put though on a day-to-day basis.

Role: Maid

Missy comes from a wealthy family, with her parents sending her to be a maid not for the money, but so she could have a working experience and potentially meet suitors. Because of her family's notoriety, before being hired she was in high demand, with her having one of the highest pays. She receives all the money she makes, with her going out to the city every Sunday to go and spend her earnings on luxuries that she rubs in Cora's face. Whilst she gets along fairly well with the other maids, she despises Cora, with her often displaying her cruel jealousy of her through their interactions, only holding back when in front of the Earl to keep a good appearance to him.

Role: Maid

Cora is the newest maid, with her only beginning working as one at 15. Before she was a maid, she worked in the textile industry, being forced to sit and sew clothes until her hooves were swollen. Whilst she has been an occasional maid for other families, this is her first time as a live-in maid, with her getting the job after Ethel read a newspaper on her abysmal firing and felt empathy for her, convincing Arthur to hire her. In her time at the manor, she has shown that she can be incompetently awkward at times, however she has demonstrated that she puts her all into her work when it counts. Whilst here, she has quickly learnt to be wary of crossing the Earl due to his unpredictability, with her having panic attacks of the thought.

Role: Chef

Stewart began work at the manor a few years after Ethel, though this was unsurprising to the pair. They had actually grown up on the same street as children, with Ethel being a child when Stewart was born. Because of this, the pair have a somewhat sibling dynamic, something they then extended to Bradley when he joined the staff. Stewart loves cooking for everyone, loving the feeling of working with his hands to create culinary works. He enjoys mentoring Hubert, finding him charming and refreshing as he was working alone for some time. Every Saturday evening he bakes batches of scones ready to bring to the following day's picnic with Ethel and Bradley.

Name: Hubert    Age: 18    Species: Monkey   Height: 6`2

Role: Porter

Hubert is a young porter, working under the guidance of Stewart as he learns his way around the kitchen. He was originally a chimney sweep, with him working from the ages of 3 to 16, with his long limbs giving him an advantage in the field until he was eventually fired for being too big to fit. Despite suffering such a traumatic childhood, Hubert doesn't let it bring him down, with him having a carefree fun-loving attitude. This behaviour has been especially brought out by this new job as a porter, with him loving every moment of it.

Name: Bradley    Age: 54    Species: Hedgehog   Height: 5`1

Role: Groundskeeper

Along with Ethel and Stewart, Bradley is one of the older members of the manor's staff, with him being the youngest of the trio. This has led to the three of them becoming very close, with Stewart and Ethel having looked out for Bradley when he first started as a gardener. Bradley loves taking care of the manor's surrounding land, with him taking careful and loving care of each flower along the house, along with him having a greenhouse of produce he lovingly grows. He lives in a shed in the garden, with his bedding blanket being the blanket he, Ethel and Stewart use for their weekly talks.

Name: Earl Arthur Finchwagen    Age: 66    Species: Cougar    Height: 5`1

Role: Earl of Nottingham

Arthur is a very cold-hearted man. He hasn't the time nor the care for shenanigans. He's a very menacing and controlling man, with his treatment of his own personal staff being incredibly harsh. This side of him is often covered by a façade when in public, with him appearing more approachable when in social situations outside of the Manor, something he does to manipulate those around him into helping him keep his power in the country.

Name: Lord Charles Finchwagen II    Age: 20    Species: Cougar

Height: 5`1    Role: Lord of Nottingham

Charles is the son of Arthur, with him being named after his grandfather Charles Finchwagen. His personality in the manor contradicts his fathers. Where his father is cold and controlling, Charles is much more compassionate and caring for the staff, with this being helped by the fact that, among some others whom have long since retired, Ethel, Stewart and Bradley helped raise Charles from birth, with them working with his late mother to shape him into the kind-hearted soul he is.
